Kings Of Leon, Neil Young and The Chrome Hearts, and The Lumineers to headline new UK festival
State Fayre is rolling into Chelmsford town next summer with three heavyweight headliners.
Kings Of Leon, Neil Young and The Chrome Hearts, and The Lumineers will headline the inaugural State Fayre.
The brand-new major camping festival is set for Hylands Park, Chelmsford, from June 26 to 28, 2026. Billed as the UK’s largest music and barbecue festival with a capacity of around 30,000, State Fayre promises a weekend of rock, Americana and folk alongside authentic American-inspired food culture.
Kings Of Leon will open the festival on Friday night, bringing their stadium-sized alternative rock anthems to Essex after two decades of global success and more than 60 million records sold.
Neil Young and The Chrome Hearts join the bill as part of the Love Earth World Tour, which begins in Manchester on 19 June and travels across Europe before wrapping in Italy in July. Closing the weekend, The Lumineers will deliver their acclaimed live show on Sunday evening, blending heartfelt Americana storytelling with arena-ready energy.
The headliners are joined by a stellar supporting cast including The Black Crowes, Elvis Costello and The Imposters with Charlie Sexton, Counting Crows, KT Tunstall, The Coral, Sierra Ferrell, Kingfishr, Dylan Gossett, Max McNown, Amble and many more.
State Fayre’s organisers Anna-Sophie Mertens and Alex Simmonds of Live Nation, said: “We are thrilled to unveil a brand new camping festival that builds on the phenomenal UK growth in Americana, rock and country over the past few years. We’re so excited to present this music in an immersive outdoor setting complete with the authentic food, activities and big open skies of an American state fair.”
