Iron Maiden announce 2026 European leg of tour

Iron Maiden are set to return to Europe in summer 2026 to continue their 50th anniversary Run For Your Lives world tour.

The legendary heavy metal band - featuring Steve Harris, Bruce Dickinson, Dave Murray, Adrian Smith Janick Gers - will play a series of headline festival and stadium shows across Europe.

The tour will include dates in countries they missed in 2025, plus a special UK headline show in July, with details to be announced later.

Iron Maiden will perform a career-spanning setlist, highlighting songs from their early decades alongside fan favourites, backed by what they describe as their most spectacular show yet.

The tour will kick off in May with performances in Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, and Slovakia, before moving to stadium shows in Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, and France.

A highlight will be a landmark concert at Milan’s San Siro Stadium, where Iron Maiden will be the first metal band to perform. In June, the band will also return to Paris’s La Défense Arena for a filmed show capturing their live production.

Iron Maiden are currently on the first leg of the Run For Your Lives world tour, which kicked off in June 2023 in Helsinki, Finland, and has since received widespread acclaim with many sold-out dates.

Steve Harris said: “We are all loving this Run For Your Lives tour. The fans have been amazing, the set list is perfect for the 50th Anniversary, the show is arguably our best ever and ticket demand was incredible with pretty much everywhere sold out and over a million fans attending. So we all thought we should play some more shows in Europe before heading out to other parts of the world later in the year.”

Manager Rod Smallwood added: “We were absolutely blown away by the overwhelmingly positive reaction of our fans and from across the mainstream media to the first leg of our Run For Your Lives Tour. We knew we had created a special show, but the energy of all our fans at every single concert was picked up on by the band and I think we all experienced something really memorable, and arguably our best tour ever."

The band plan to expand their popular Eddie’s Official Pop-Up Dive Bars at several venues, creating dedicated spaces for fans before and after the shows, offering exclusive merchandise, food, and entertainment.

Tickets go on sale from the week commencing September 22 via ironmaiden.com.

After their busy 2026 schedule, Iron Maiden will take a break from touring in 2027.
