Author Rick Riordan, best known for the 'Percy Jackson & the Olympians' series, promotes 'The Mark of Athena'; the new addition to the Percy Jackson sequel 'The Heroes of Olympus' series. He discusses the book and how he first started writing the Greek and Roman mythology stories with his fans at Temple Judea, Miami.

He talked about how nervous was about letting his students read the final manuscript of the first book 'The Lightening Thief' when he was a teacher. 'I've sent manuscripts to New York, I was more nervous about having my own students read this book', he said. He also mentioned how the children helped him with it. 'They had great ideas', he said, 'One kid said, 'So, he's got this magic pen, what happens if he loses it? Because that happens in middle school.''
