Fact: A robot from iconic TV show Lost in Space has been rescued from a fire. Los Angeles firefighters managed to save the prop while putting out the blaze at the Valley Village, Los Angeles home of a special effects artist. The emergency services crew also saved numerous other TV and film props at the Whitsett Avenue home. The fire was reportedly sparked by faulty electrics while the homeowner was out of town.
