Hey, all you Americans worrying about Hurricane Sandy, listen to Lindsay Lohan, it's all gonna be ok! Though schools have closed, television shows shut down and hundreds of thousands of evacuated, The Canyons actress thinks everyone should take a step back, and chill out.

Tweeting over the weekend, Lohan said, "WHY is everyone in SUCH a panic about hurricane (i'm calling it Sally)..? Stop projecting negativity! Think positive and pray for peace." So there you have it. All you meteorologists, stop projecting negativity! All you television stations, just show reruns of The Simpsons. All you families on the east coast, just remember to close the windows and maybe hang out your washing. The message was re-tweeted more than 4,000 times, though was kind of diluted by the fact that Lindsay also re-tweeted a message from the Red Cross advising that families review their emergency plans. She also alerted followers to the fact that she "loves Doritos" and "loves Adam Lambert" as well as posting the cryptic message, "So at least it's something I experience, but that's not where I live. Marilyn Monroe."

Lohan is still on the hunt for a new publicist after Steve Honig quit following a series of PR gaffes.
