Robbie Williams Falls Off Stage, Breaks Fan's Arm & Doesn't Apologise?

Robbie Williams reportedly did not apologise to a fan whose arm he broke whilst performing in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne last month. The 40-year-old fell off stage at Metro Radio Arena and landed on the arm of a 52-year-old woman stood by the railings at the front of the concert.

Williams was in Newcastle at the end of June on his Swing Both Ways tour when he fell off stage whilst performing his song of the same name. He was exuberantly performing when he leaned down to high five fans in the front row but one lady got more than she bargained for.

As the Metro reports, Williams fell on 52-year-old Margaret Nash who was standing att a barrier close to the stage area. The arena did offer Nash medical treatment but she missed the rest of Williams' concert. Nash was taken to hospital and apparently has her entire right arm set in plaster.

Robbie Williams reportedly did not apologise at the time.

The manager of the Metro Radio Arena Paul Tappenden, as the Telegraph reports, said "Robbie was walking around on stage and missed his footing, and he fell on to the barrier between the stage and the crowd. Ms Nash was leaning against the barrier and we later found out that she had broken her arm."

Although Williams joked about incident when he leapt back on stage, saying "that went well", he does not appear to have apologised to Nash at the time. Nash's daughter Katie, according to The Mirror, tweeted Williams and wrote "You fell on my mam and she's been in hospital with a broken arm. You never even said sorry."

However, the arena has since confirmed Williams' representative has contacted Nash.
