Last night, Alice Cooper brought his show to London's Wembley Arena, accompanied by a host of ghoulish zombies, especialy for Halloween.

On Tuesday (October 23, 2012), Alice Cooper unveiled his handprints at Wembley Arena’s Square of Fame. The born-again Christian first played at Wembley back in 1972 and is the only solo artist to have headlined the venue in the last five consecutive decades.

According to london24.com, he said “Wembley is one of those venues that gives you goosebumps when you walk in the door. It’s high on the list of gigs that every band dreams of playing. We’ve been there so many times, it always feels like a homecoming and an honour to this day.” The venue’s manager, John Drury, paid tribute to Cooper’s longstanding appeal, saying “It’s an honour to have Alice Cooper reach this landmark. He really is a legendary rock and roll icon and we look forward to welcoming him back for many more performances in the years to come!”

The response to the spooky, zombie-inspired concert on Twitter has been one of excitement, with one user, @EllaMarconi, saying “i found it so hard to sleep last night, all I could think about were Alice cooper and his zombies ><” and another, @DanBurgess1 was impressed with Cooper’s snake-charming (and audience-charming) abilities, saying “I rate Alice Cooper for a doing pretty much a whole set with a snake round his neck.”

Alice Cooper’s Halloween Tour continues tomorrow night (October 30, 2012) at Nottingham’s Royal Concert Hall, October 31, 2012 at Edinburgh’s Usher Hall and November 1, 2012 at Sheffield City Hall.
