Totally different from ‘Run’, ‘Chocolate’ is upbeat and positive. More reminiscent of Doves’ ‘Pounding’ than anything but it is a lovely song and more acoustic which makes it sound like a trip to the seaside – not that, that’s a bad thing. It’s also nice to see that Snow Patrol aren’t resting on their laurels and haven’t released a ‘Run’-mark 2 even if some people are saying that ‘Chocolate’ isn’t the best track on the album. This is Indie for people who don’t like Indie.
