The 37 year-old rapper is reportedly seeing out his 250 hours of community service at the L.A. Trade Technical College, where he has been teaching a fashion design class.
Kanye West has finally put his knowledge of the fashion world to good use.
The 37 year-old was sentenced to two years of probation and 250 hours' worth of community service after getting into an altercation with a photographer at LAX airport in July 2013.
But this may not necessarily be a bad thing for West.
The 'Bound 2' rapper is currently serving out his sentence at the L.A. Trade Technical College, where he has been teaching a fashion design class.
One student even confirmed West's presence at the college, telling E!News, "Last year, students made Kanye inspired, so I think that's why he came by which was cool."
TMZ reports, on Monday (June 23rd) Kim Kardashian's husband made his third visit to LATTC in the past six weeks, he allegedly took a three-hour lecture focusing on different designers.
This past March, West pled no contest to a misdemeanour battery charge on a paparazzo stemming from last July (2013). As well as receiving 24 months of probation and the lengthy community service sentence, the rap star also has to attend 24 anger management sessions.
The charges, which were counts of battery and grand theft, were in connection with West getting physical with Daniel Ramos, a paparazzo, outside the famed airport. Ramos claimed West punched him in an unprovoked attack and attempted to destroy his camera during their altercation.
"If I did what he did to me, I'd be behind bars," he said to reporters outside the courthouse in March. "I was doing my job and he broke the law."
The 'Yeezus' hit maker has already had to deal with a civil settlement this year, in January West was accused of assaulting a man at a Beverly Hills medical center. Kanye allegedly punched an 18 year-old male in the face for bad mouthing his fiancé Kim Kardashian and using the N word.
The Los Angeles County district attorney's office decided not to charge West due to conflicting witness statements.
