Oasis have confirmed Richard Ashcroft will return as their support act in South America.

The Britpop legends were joined by the former Verve frontman for the UK and Ireland leg of their Oasis Live '25 Tour and have now revealed the Bitter Sweet Symphony hitmaker will be back as their opening act on the next leg of the stadium jaunt.

The band will play shows in Argentina, Chile and Brazil between November 15 to 23.

Rhythm guitarist Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs, 60, is hoping to return in time for the South American shows, after being forced to skip dates in Seoul, Tokyo, Melbourne and Sydney to undergo prostate cancer treatment.

The São Paulo show on November 23 is the final date of the tour at present.

However, frontman Liam Gallagher has made several hints that the Slide Away rockers are planning to add further dates in 2026.

After a fan asked why the 2002 track The Hindu Times - the lead single from their chart-topping fifth studio album Heathen Chemistry - didn't make the setlist for the Britpop legends' first tour in 16 years, Liam appeared to suggest the jaunt would extend beyond 2025.

He replied: “Chill Winston it’s not even HALF TIME yet.

"It’s a tour of 2 half’s (sic)."

DJ Chris Evans recently hinted at huge Oasis news for next year on his Breakfast Show on Virgin Radio.

However, he said the news would drop on October 2, and fans are still waiting to hear.

The excitement caused the band's official website - oasisinet.com - to crash, with fans met with the messages "Error 44" and "access denied".

Liam also caused a stir when he tweeted and swiftly deleted: “MMXXV11."

The 52-year-old singer teased fans about the prospect of more shows in 2026 as the band wrapped up its two sold-out performances at Wembley Stadium last month.

The Live Forever hitmakers closed their highly anticipated run of reunion concerts at Wembley on September 27, with Champagne Supernova and before starting the song, Liam turned to the audience and addressed them directly.

He said: “I wanna thank you lot for keeping the faith and putting this band back on the f****** map. Champagne Supernova.”

Liam then sent fans at the stadium and online into a frenzy by adding: "See you next year!”

The remark sent the crowd into cheers and set off widespread speculation on social media that the Gallagher brothers are preparing a global tour.

According to reports, major offers are already being considered, including four shows at Knebworth House to mark the 30th anniversary of the band’s landmark 1996 concerts, which drew more than 250,000 fans.

Industry insiders have also suggested potential dates at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium and headline appearances at international festivals including Coachella in the United States and Benicàssim in Spain. Fans have additionally speculated about a long-awaited return to Glastonbury, where Oasis have not performed for decades.

The possibility of further touring comes after months of denials from both Liam and Noel Gallagher, 58, who had insisted their reunion would not extend beyond 2025.
