Tony Hadley will be singing songs he has "never performed before" on his 'The Christmas Big Band Tour'.

The Spandau Ballet frontman, his band and a full live brass section will be travelling across the UK to spread his spectacular celebration of swing and crooner classics, as well as his hits reimagined following the success of the sold-out 2024 gigs.

He said: "I absolutely loved last year’s tour with my big band. It rekindled my excitement and passion for the songs that formed such an important part of my childhood, songs that inspired me to pursue a singing career.

"For this year’s tour, we will be visiting some of my favourite swing classics along with big band songs that I have never performed before.

"I never tire of performing 'True', 'Gold' and 'Through the Barricades' and look forward to including these great songs in the set as well!”

He will perform a selection of timeless jazz standards and swing anthems in his powerhouse voice, from the likes of musical icons Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, and Elvis Presley.

For the die-hard '80s fans, the 64-year-old performer will sing stylish reworkings of his band's classic hits, including 'True', 'Gold' and 'Through the Barricades'.

From starting at the forefront of the New Romantic movement, Tony has bagged himself the accolade of being one of pop’s greatest vocalists.

In 2005 he was awarded a Gold Badge from the British Academy of Composers and Songwriters.

Alongside his music career, he received an MBE in December 2019 in the Queen’s New Year’s Honours List for his charitable work for the Shooting Star Children’s Hospice - which cares for children with life-limiting conditions.

Tickets go on pre-sale on Thursday, January 30, at 10am, with the general sale being on Friday, January, 31, at 10am.
