Kelly Clarkson and her long-time beau Brandon Blackstock have gotten married; tying the knot in an intimate ceremony held over the weekend in rural Tennessee. The two managed to keep the ceremony on the down low and their union wasn't revealed until Monday evening (21 October), when the new Mrs Blackstock tweeted about the big Sunday (20 Oct.) ceremony.

Clarkson and Blackstock managed to keep their union quiet from the press until Monday's revelation, although we did know it was coming when the two showed up in person at a Sumner County (TN) clerks office to apply for a marriage license last week. Considering these only last for thirty days then most were suspecting that the big day was imminent.

The ceremony itself was a low key, intimate affair, attended by only a handful of close friends and family, including Brandon's children from a previous marriage. As stated in Clarkson's first tweet, the pair were married in Blackberry Farms, TN, describing it as "the most beautiful place ever!"

She also used Twitter to name the designer of her dress - Temperley London - and even shared a few glossies from the big day.

Kelly and Brandon have been together for about two years now, and met through Brandon's father, Narvel Blackstock, who had been Clarkson's manager years prior to their union. Narvel is also married to Kelly's former touring partner Reba McEntire. The newlyweds began going steady in late 2011 and Brandon popped the question in December last year, offering his now-bride a diamond-encrusted engagement ring that he had co-designed himself. Talk about knowing what women want.

Congratulations to the happy couple. Here's hoping you happiness and love in your marriage!
