Maybe it’s something in the European air? Justin Bieber really has been oddly in the last few weeks on the continent and it seems that a switch of country hasn’t made things any better. Reuters are reporting that the precocious 19 year-old surprised staff and other passengers at Lodz airport in Poland, following a show there, after he took his top off to walk through the airport and through the metal detector and security area.

Why? Who knows, maybe he thought he had something metallic on him, but it was -10 c (-14 fahrenheit) so it definitely wasn’t the wisest decision. Besides, a spokeswoman for the Lodz Airport told Reuters "He wasn't told to take off his clothes. He had no metal objects on him. He's quite skinny so I assume he was probably freezing." It’s enjoyable how unimpressed she sounds here.

Bieber played Lodz as part of his ongoing European tour, with his next show scheduled for Munich in Germany, on March 28th. In the UK several incidents happened surrounding the pop star; he was turned away from a club in Manchester, while in London his demands for appearance fees at nightspots were also turned down. On his birthday, meanwhile, some of his friends were turned away from the venue he was celebrating at for being underage. He said it was his worst birthday ever and was eventually spotted traipsing around London wearing a gas mask. Troubling.
