The 1990s is turning out to be a pioneering decade for electronic music, and one aspiring young DJ named Paul finds himself determined to make it big in Paris where he regularly ventures out to the clubs and rave parties with his likeminded friends. His passion is music, but it's not the easiest thing in the world to make money out of. Even when he wins huge popularity with his 1994 Cheers night, meeting the likes of Daft Punk and partying night after night, he still winds up struggling with huge debts and growing ever tired of his nocturnal lifestyle of drugs, sex and virtually no sleep. His partner shows little interest, insisting that it all has to come to an end at some point, but that's the last thing Paul wants.

'Eden' is the forthcoming music biopic directed and written by Mia Hansen-Løve ('Goodbye First Love', 'Father of My Children') and co-written by her brother Sven Hansen-Løve on whose musical career the movie is based. The film has been nominated for awards at the IndieLisboa International Independent Film Festival and the San Sebastián International Film Festival and it is scheduled to be released in the UK on July 24th 2015.
