Lisa is a young schoolgirl, badly teased by her peers and with no apparent friends until she meets her remarkably short redhead neighbour Nilly. The pair decide to go on an adventure together and explore the home of another of their neighbours, Doctor Proctor; a remarkable scientist who introduces the children to his latest invention, fart powder. This isn't just any ordinary fart powder, however (if it can ever be called ordinary), this is a chemical that can produce wind powerful enough to jettison its user into the heavens. It isn't long before Lisa and Nilly's arch-enemies, twins Truls and Trym, find out about the invention and go about plotting a major heist, while Lisa and Nilly find themselves on a bizarre adventure involving a giant snake.

Originally titled 'Doktor Proktors prompepulver', this family comedy is based on the debut children's book of Di Derre rocker Jo Nesbø, following his Harry Hole crime novel series. He was the author behind action thriller 'Headhunters', which was adapted into the highest-grossing Noregian film of all time. At the movie's helm is director Arild Fröhlich ('Fatso') alongside writer Johan Bogaeus ('Gone with the Woman'), and it has already been nominated for Best Children Film at Norway's Amanda Awards. 'Jo Nesbo's Doctor Proctor's Fart Powder' is due for release on February 13th 2015.
