Caitlyn Scarlett - Sunset Cigarette Video

With the release of her debut EP, 'Jurassic Jukebox and Other Drugs', Caitlyn Scarlett has released the music video for her haunting, reminiscent, acoustic track - 'Sunset Cigarette'. The EP also includes her debut track, the bass (both types) infused 'Bad Love'.

In conjunction with 'The 405', the 19-year-old Scarlett has self-directed the visual design for the 'Sunset Cigarette' music video. When questioned about the L.A. set video, she stated 'I wanted the video to have a vintage sort of class about it so filming around Hollywood and Downtown with all the palm trees and old hotels seemed perfect'. The video achieves the intended feeling, with old fashioned cameras and moody filters overlaying the footage of her smoking in an airy, yet obtrusive room with a stunning view of the L.A. landscape.

With 'Bad Love' so far gaining over 180,000 plays, the young Londoner released her debut EP on 19th May, 2014. Working with the Space Age Crew, a group that includes twice MOBO nominated Little Simz, and singer Miraa May, Scarlett is hard at work on a new single for later in 2014.
