Brian Merel is interviewed about his experiences on TV show 'Hell's Kitchen' and cooking for controversial comedian Andy Dick. He reveals that the most challenging part of the competition is 'staying sane' and that losing the challenges on the show makes you not 'want to be alive anymore'. On being asked if he is fed lines whilst on camera, he insists that it's all completely real and nothing is staged.

He talks about catering for private dinner parties and reveals that he cooked for Andy Dick who he has much respect for despite his reputation for repeated sexual assault charges. Merel is asked if he was sexually molested by him to which he replies, 'I wish.' He also reveals his plans to host his own cooking show
