Demi Lovato Signs On For X Factor USA

Demi Lovato has reportedly signed up for the US version of 'The X Factor'.

The singer-and-actress is set to join the judging panel of the show alongside fellow newcomer Britney Spears, Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid, TMZ.com reports.

According to the gossip website, Demi and Britney are both due to be unveiled on TV show 'FOX Up Fronts' later today (14.05.12) which would see them take the places of former judges Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul when the show returns this autumn.

It has previously been reported that Britney - who is thought to have signed a $15 million contract to be a panellist on the new series - was keen on the 19-year-old brunette joining her on the show.

A source said: ''Britney is extremely hopeful that Demi will become one of the judges because she truly admires her. Britney loves how open and honest Demi has been with her fans. She thinks they have a lot in Common and that they would have great chemistry on the show.''
