Adkins Becomes Comic Book Star

Country star Trace Adkins has become an unlikely comic book hero.
The Chrome singer got animated as Luke MCBain in a 12 Gauge Comics series, which was released last month (Nov09), and the first issue flew off the shelves, selling out in just two days.
Adkins' likeness and persona will be back for a second issue, which will be released on 16 December (09).
In the comic book series, Adkins' character is an innocent ex-convict who returns to his hometown to help run his family's timber mill and face the past.
