Parton's I Will Always Love You Lyrics Fetch $7,150 At Auction
DOLLY PARTON's handwritten lyrics to hit ballad I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU have fetched over $7,000 (£4,375) at auction.
The country star's scribbled words to the song that became a massive hit for Whitney Houston was the top item at a lyrics sale in Nashville, Tennessee.
Willie Nelson's handwritten notes for On the Road Again and other original lyrics penned by Robert Plant, Peter Frampton and Patty Griffin also went under the hammer at the charity auction.
