Reunited rockers Buffalo Springfield have postponed their comeback tour to 2012.
Neil Young, Stephen Stills and Rick Furay reformed for their first performance in 43 years earlier this year (11) as a warm-up for their headlining spot at the Bonnaroo festival in Tennessee earlier this month (Jun11), and guitarist Furay made it clear there would be an official tour later this year.
But now, in a post on his Facebook.com page, the rocker-turned-pastor writes, "For those of you getting excited about the Buffalo Springfield fall tour, word has just come to me that it has been moved to the first of next year.
"I'm not going to spend a lot time here with details as you speculate among yourselves - there's nothing to speculate about, the tour has simply been moved."
The trio made a special appearance last October (10) at Young's annual Bridge School Benefit, the band's first since splitting up in 1968.
