Mana frontman Fher Olvera and his wife Monica Noguera have split after 11 years together.

The Latin rocker and Mexican Tv presenter secretly tied the knot in a private ceremony in 2013, but after a brief year of marriage, the couple has called it quits.

Newswoman Maria Celeste Arraras confirmed the split on her U.S. Spanish language news programme Al Rojo Vivo, saying Olvera and Noguera actually broke up months ago, but noted they are still very good friends.

Noguera confirmed the report by taking to Instagram.com to share a photo of what appears to be herself walking hand in hand with Olvera on a beach at sunset, and wrote the caption, "Fher... Friends forever! My best friend! Thanks Maria Celeste for your love and the news of our separation in such a respectful manner. You're a great professional, opinion leader, but more importantly, a great friend."

Olvera and Noguera met in 2000, but began dating in 2003, and have had an on and off relationship ever since.
