Bad news for fans of watching people walk, and bad news for fans of Lady GaGa; and even bad news for fans of watching Lady Gaga walk – especially if you were planning on seeing her do some walking (and presumably some dancing and singing and other stuff) at her shows in Chicago, Detroit and Ontario. She’s had to postpone them, because she can’t walk.
The Fame star popped up on Twitter the other day to reveal to her Monsters that she’d been carrying a long-term injury, which had gotten so bad that it had restricted her movement – leaving her with no choice but to postpone the aforementioned four shows (with two of them taking place in Chicago.) "There's an unfortunate announcement coming out right now, concerning myself and the Born This Ball. Im so sorry. I barely know what to say," the singer tweeted according to The Los Angeles Times. "I've been hiding a show injury and chronic pain for sometime now, over the past month it has worsened. I've been praying it would heal. I hid it from my staff, I didn't want to disappoint my amazing fans. However after last nights performance I could not walk and still can't," she added.
"To the fans in Chicago Detroit & Hamilton I hope you can forgive me, as it is nearly impossible for me to forgive myself. Im devasted & sad. It will hopefully heal as soon as possible, I hate this. I hate this so much. I love you and Im sorry.” We wish Gaga a speedy recovery.
