Starsailor are marking their 25th anniversary with a UK tour

Starsailor have announced a UK tour to celebrate their 25th anniversary.
The post-Britpop band - comprised of guitarist James Walsh, bass guitarist James Stelfox, drummer Ben Byrne, and keyboardist Barry Westhead - will perform their hit tracks, such as 'Silence is Easy' and 'Alcoholic' over nine days this November.
Walsh said: "We wanted to do something special to mark 25 years together as a band.
"These songs mean so much to people, we really enjoy playing them and seeing the audience’s reaction.
"We can’t wait!”
Since breaking into the music industry in 2000, Starsailor has achieved critical acclaim and commercial success, including shooting their 2001 'Love is Here' and 2003 'Silence is Easy' albums to the number two spot on the Official Singles Chart.
They have continued their chart domination with their 2024 album 'Where the Wild Things Grow', which ranked number two on the Official Independent Albums Chart.
Ed Harcourt, who has released ten studio albums, two EPs, and thirteen singles, will support the music legends in select cities - Wolverhampton, Norwich, Nottingham, Bristol, London, Newcastle, Glasgow and Manchester.
Before the big bash - which starts in Leeds on Thursday, November 13 - Starsailor is throwing two special orchestral shows at Liverpool's Tung Auditorium on February 15 - which is now sold out.
They will be accompanied by a string ensemble conducted by acclaimed arranger Joe Duddell.
Starsailor's 25th-anniversary celebrations also see them tour Europe in October with more news to be announced soon.
Tickets for the November UK tour go on sale Friday 31st January at 10am and can be purchased here.
