The drama airs its final episode tonight, Jeffrey Donovan explains why it was necessary.

TV show Burn Notice is to air its final episode this evening (12th September) after seven seasons and 110 episodes. For fans of the show, this may be a hard concept to deal with - the series has been on screens since 2007 and has built up a steadfast following over the years. The fans won't be disappointed with the season seven's send-off, however: an emotional and action-packed show is promised.

"There's a very tight-knit family of cast members. and one of us dies in the series finale," Burn Notice star Jeffrey Donovan tells Showbiz Tonight. "It's a tragic death, but also a heroic death. But when people watch it, they'll realize it was a necessary death."

Kimberly Review

Bad

Here's the story of the world's biggest slut. When the titular Kimberly (Anwar) comes to America for a spell, she takes on four sad sack best friends to teach them how to row (you know, boats). In a matter of weeks, she's sleeping with all of them, and before long, she's pregnant. And get this: The four guys agree to share parenting duties (nah, she won't bother to find out who the father is). The story is completely asinine and baffling (the qualifying race for an annual regatta occurs nine months before the race?), but what's really special is just how insulting Kimberly is, no matter how progressive your mindset might be. Atrocious.Continue reading: Kimberly Review

North Beach Review

Extraordinary

As we've seen in several recent Clerks knock-offs, doing nothing isn't anywhere as entertaining as we've all thought. Starting out with damn near no plot, almost no point, and a collection of bizarre characters and ending up with a funny movie that keeps your attention for a good hour and a half just can't be done in Hollywood style. So when I find myself watching a film like North Beach, which proves its tagline of "Once in a while, a movie comes along that defines a generation. Let's hope to God this ain't it," quite effectively, I can't help but enjoy it.

North Beach centers (as much as a movie that wanders its way through its story can center) around Tyler (Casey Peterson), a denizen of North Beach, San Francisco who happens to have made the mistake of sleeping with a 19-year-old stripper from New Orleans. Slacker movie that North Beach is, no matter where Tyler goes, everyone knows about this before he tells them... including his girlfriend. The inevitable result is that Tyler spends all day in frantic attempts to win his girlfriend back and manage whatever else pops up in his slacker life.
