Looks like a real cat-astrophe unfolding on the set of New Girl
Cats, cars and bins; that seems to be what's going down on a forthcoming episode of New Girl if the pictures we have of Zooey Deschanel and Jake Johnson filming in Los Angeles are anything to go buy. A couple of amusing shots - more of which can be seen in our full gallery - show Deschanel looking befuddled whilst standing next to a car that's got felines, standing looking befuddled next to a bin, and, well, just generally looking befuddled really.
Zooey Deschanel and Jake Johnson filming new New Girls
She looks most at ease walking along the street with her co-star, who plays Nick, the man who everyone's pretty much waiting for Deschanel's Jess to get with, surely? You've got to hand it to the actress; she turned 33 yesterday and, instead of partying, was hard at work on set for the show - which has been much loved by critics since first airing on Fox in 2011.
The show was unfortunate to miss out at the Golden Globes last weekend, where Deschanel was nominated for Best Actress in a TV Series Musical or Comedy - missing out to Lena Dunham - and Max Greenfield, who plays Schmidt, missed out on Best Supporting Actor in a TV Series Musical or Comedy. Despite that though, it remains one of Fox's biggest ratings draw, with the current series finale set for March 13, 2013. You can surely predict that Fox will be ordering a new season as soon as it's over.
