Craig passed away at her home in Pacific Palisades, California on Monday night (17Aug15) following a battle with breast cancer, which had spread to her liver.

She was best known for playing Barbara Gordon and her crime-fighting alter-ego Batgirl in Adam West's 1960s TV version of Batman. She also enjoyed TV roles in Star Trek, The Man From U.N.C.L.E., Starsky and Hutch and The Six Million Dollar Man.

Craig appeared alongside rock icon Elvis Presley in 1963's It Happened at the World's Fair and 1964's Kissin' Cousins, and they briefly dated.

In 2000, she released an autobiography titled From Ballet to the Batcave and Beyond, and most recently provided the voice of Grandma for children's TV show Olivia.
