Wynonna Judd's husband Cactus Moser has returned to the stage for the first time since his leg was amputated following a horrific motorcycle accident in August (12).

The drummer lost his left leg above the knee after sustaining serious injuries in the South Dakota crash on 18 August (12), prompting his country star wife to cancel a number of concerts as she helped nurse him back to good health.

But on Tuesday (27Nov12) Moser appeared as strong as ever, receiving a standing ovation as he performed with Judd at the kick-off of her Rockin' Christmas tour in Saskatchewan, Canada.

Speaking to the crowd, Judd said, "It's been a long way from August 18 to here. It's truly a miracle."

And Moser insists he owes his life to his partner, telling TheBoot.com, "I've watched what she's done for me and to me, to help me get into a shower and into the bathroom. I can't imagine being in that situation and going, 'This is who I love, but this is not how I saw him.'

"I have watched her be a gallant, amazing champion and wondered how I would have reacted if it were her."
