The movie, Zoolander 2, is due for release in February next year (16), and filming started in Rome, Italy last month (April 15). Nelson has now revealed he has landed a small role alongside a slew of celebrity guest stars including Justin Bieber, Penelope Cruz and Kristen Wiig.

He tells Access Hollywood that the role came about thanks to his friendship with Wedding Crashers star Wilson, revealing, "Owen and I are good buddies. We stay pretty close in touch... He's the one that asked me if I wanted to do it: 'Let's do it.'"

The original movie was released in 2001, and followed the antics of clueless male model Derek Zoolander, played by Stiller.
