Executives at New Line acquired the rights to the film last month (Sep15), but the movie has hit another roadblock following Hugh Jackman's departure in August (15).

Will Smith has stepped in to replace the X-Men star in the film about a New York advertising executive who is plunged into a deep depression following a personal tragedy.

Principal photography is scheduled to begin this month (Oct15), but it is unclear if the movie will stay on schedule.

Funnyman Jason Segel also stars in the film, but actress Rooney Mara has also exited the project.
