Motley Crue Star Vince Neil's Arena Football Team The Las Vegas Outlaws Have Been Taken Over By League Officials After The Original Owners Backed Out Of Operations Due To Poor Attendances And Financial Issues.
League commissioner Scott Butera and the AFL Board of Directors have reportedly agreed to cover the costs for the team until the end of the season, when new owners will be sought and offered the chance to take over.
The Outlaws have four games remaining, including a clash with Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley's L.A. Kiss this weekend (18Jul15).
The Las Vegas expansion team isn't rocker Neil's first foray into arena football - he had an ownership stake in the Jacksonville Sharks.
The Outlaws played their first game in March (15) with Neil in attendance during a break from Motley Crue's final tour.
