If you loved his 2018 debut album 'Lighting Matches' featuring the song 'Found What I've Been Looking For', you'll be pleased to know that 25-year-old Bedford singer-songwriter Tom Grennan is set to return next year with his follow-up 'Evering Road'.
The record is set to drop on March 5th 2021 through Insanity Records, but ahead of the release Tom has unveiled a poignant video for his new song 'Amen'. Directed by KC Locke, it's a visual full of full of romance, beautiful scenery and bare-knuckle fighting (for some reason) as the singer laments loneliness but embraces religion with his unusual but infectious vocal.
Previous singles from the album were 'This Is the Place' and 'Oh Please', but 2020 has also seen Tom Grennan team up with Fraser T. Smith for his latest album project '12 Questions', released under the moniker Future Utopia; Tom lent guest vocals to the song 'Do We Really Care? Pt. 1', also featuring Tia Carys.
Collaborations are really how the singer reached our radar; he first found fame appearing on Chase & Status' song 'All Goes Wrong' back in 2016, and he'd later go on to cover Simon & Garfunkel's 'Bridge over Troubled Water' for Artists For Grenfell in 2017, and feature on grime artist Bugzy Malone's single 'Memory Lane' that same year.
