Tion Wayne looks like he's taken up a Top Gear challenge in the video for his latest single, 'Wow'. Wayne's world is filled with all manner of automobiles on his latest shoot as he takes to the streets of London.
Tion Wayne's new single is his follow up to the hugely successful, number one single 'Body', released earlier this year in March. His collaboration with Russ Millions brought Tion his first number one single in the UK, bringing his tally to five top five singles and nine top 40 singles. 'Body' spent three weeks at number one and has so far spent nine weeks on the chart making it Tion's biggest track to date.
His follow up single, 'Wow', is a solo effort from the North London rapper but similarly hard hitting. Tion pulls no punches as he raps across a deep bass beat infused with a little dub in the drum and bass referencing score.
In the video for 'Wow', Wayne and his crew are coordinated like a latter day vocal harmony group. Fast forward 50 years from flaired pastel suits and Tion and his gang are kitted out in matching black and green to compliment their vast array of motor vehicles.
Tion Wayne circles the capital as he holds up traffic on the Queen Elizabeth II Bridge at the Dartford Crossing with his range of Lamborghini's and super bikes. He's also seen taking to the streets of his North London manor in an Abbot 433 tank!! Hopefully it wasn't loaded. If this was his Top Gear initiation test, then Tion has passed.
