David is a particularly British sort of gent and generally not a magnet for romance. It's no surprise then that when he meets the beautiful Marisa, he is happy to pack up his English life and move to Madrid to be with her. However, it isn't long before they realise that they are not meant to be together after several blazing arguments, and the abandoned David is left to experience Spanish life alone and broken hearted, and totally alienated from society. Unfortunately, living in Spain is a lot different to taking a sunny vacation and finding love in another country becomes increasingly complicated - even with the help of his new male allies. In fact, the more he tries to learn about women and life in Spain in general, the less he seems to understand both.
'Tea & Sangria' stars Peter Domankiewicz ('Summer of Love'), who also directed, produced and wrote the movie as his first feature film. It is based on his own ridiculous experiences from living in the Spanish capital and adapting to life where there's a very different ethos to living and romance. The film is set to be released in the UK on April 24th 2015.
