British producer Starsmith aka Fin Dow-Smith unveils a futuristic lyric video for his recently released new single 'Be My Love' featuring vocals from Tawiah. It comes ahead of a collection of solo material he'll be releasing later this year.
The lyric video is minimal, but its dizzying kaleidoscopic effect goes well with the heavy dance beat, dreamy synths and powerful vocals that lead an incredibly catchy chorus. It's a charming love song with a lot of depth behind the chaotic instrumental, and the heartfelt lyrics (that you can't ignore) go further to cement this feeling.
'Be My Love' was released on March 10th 2014 and sees Starsmith team up with Tawiah; an R&B singer whose previous musical ventures include being a part of Mark Ronson's touring band 'The Version Players'. Starsmith will be focusing entirely on his solo project this year, having previously been working alongside Champion Records artist PY with her latest single 'Swimming Slow'. As well as PY, he has been helping out with various other artists recently including Charli XCX, Becky Hill, Ella Eyre and Sasha Keable - but arguably his biggest career boost so far has been his remix of Lady Gaga's 'Bad Romance' which featured on her 2010 'The Remix' compilation album.
