German techno band Scooter express their excitement that live shows are finally back on after a year of lockdowns with the video for their latest single 'Groundhog Day'.
Indeed, "groundhog day" is a very good way to describe the year we've had with the COVID-19 pandemic, so we are just as excited as Scooter to be able to enjoy live music again soon. They have a series of European dates coming up, kicking off on May 8th in Dresden, with many more shows yet to be announced. They will also embark on their arena tour in March 2022.
'Groundhog Day' features on Scooter's new album 'God Save the Rave'; their twentieth studio release and their first featuring Sebastian Schilde who as replaced member Phil Speiser following his departure after five years. Plus, it's been their longest gap ever between albums, with their last - 'Scooter Forever' - being released in 2017.
'God Save the Rave' is out now on Sheffield Tunes and Kontor Records.
