Berlin sibling duo Hundreds now present a light-hearted video for their latest single 'Circus', taken from their upcoming second studio album 'Aftermath'. The single is set to be released on March 17th 2014.
The video has been directed by Arne Feldhusen and begins with two people being dropped off at a small, forest-side house. They are then seen setting up their instruments inside before performing the track, while a beardy producer played by German actor Stefan Lampadius potters around doing various non-musical things such as smoking outside and climbing trees. The playfulness adds to the gentle, upbeat vibe of the track with its clapping rhythm, simple guitar riffs and uplifting synth tones alongside Eva Milner's sweet vocals and the unexpected addition of a brass instrument towards the end. Understated and elegant are key rules in Hundreds' music, and yet they always manage to pack in so much emotion nonetheless.
The duo, who are Eva and Philip Milner, released their self titled debut album in 2012 and have been working on album two virtually ever since. They have several tour dates planned for Germany in March and April and 'Aftermath' is due out on May 19th 2014 through German label Sinnbus records.
