Having recently been released from jail, Sombra is living a lonely existence with his pet iguana, Dragon. Living in the criminal streets of a poverty-stricken suburb in Lisbon, Portugal, he is forced to fall into his old ways dealing in drugs with the local gang. However, after being forced to take part in a robbery, he flees, leaving the gang's boss suspicious and angry - especially when it is found that there is a thief among them. Sombra has to cough up the cash if he wants to live, but when that becomes a struggle, he is hunted down at his home by the rest of the group. He manages to escape with just a flesh wound but now realises that he has to leave town, and so he gives Dragon away to a young girl in the neighbourhood. But just what will the rest of the night hold for him?
