AC/DC proved that they have far from lost their relevance with the release of their seventeenth studio album 'Power Up', and demonstrate that only further with a black and white performance video for their second single 'Realize'.
The track followed lead single 'Shot in the Dark', with both having been released ahead of the album which dropped in November 2020 through Columbia Records and Sony Music Australia. Unsurprisingly, 'Power Up' reached number one in more than 20 countries including the UK and the US.
The record was released as a tribute to founding member Malcolm Young, who passed away from dementia almost three years to the day in 2017. Plus, it also saw the return of singer Brian Johnson, drummer Phil Rudd and bassist Cliff Williams who'd previously left following 2014's 'Rock or Bust'.
Far from being an album of grief and sorrow with regards to their lost bandmate, 'Power Up' is full of positive, feel-good rock anthems just like 'Realize'; anthems that we certainly need now more than ever.
Lana Del Rey takes her 60s vintage aesthetic to the extreme with the video for new single 'Chemtrails Over The Country Club'.
