The I'm a Thug star, real name Maurice Young, filed for bankruptcy in August (15), claiming he had amassed $645,000 (£403,125) in debt and only had $430,000 (£268,750) in assets.

In his Chapter 11 court filing, the Florida native revealed he owed $290,000 (£181,250) in back taxes to America's Internal Revenue Service, $280,000 (£175,000) for his first mortgage, and over $57,000 (£25,625) in unpaid child support to the mothers of his two kids.

Young has now worked out a plan to pay $10,275 (£6,420) for the next four years and now owes $120,000 (£75,000) on the mortgage and $37,000 (£23,125) in back taxes. However, his child support amount was increased because he claims he continued to rack up debt even though he was unaware of the order.

"It's just something where I had a financial adviser and people doing my taxes and I missed one year," Trick told Bossip.com. "I ended up paying so much more with the fines and penalties..."

"(The bankruptcy plan is) the best thing," he continued. "I come from the struggle. Now all I gotta do is get that money."
