The singer/songwriter reveals she's seeking out "the right Broadway producers" to take the production, which opened in 2013, overseas.

She tells Billboard magazine, "You know if you're going to come to a musical of mine, you're not going to hold hands and sing 'Kumbaya'. But hopefully you'll walk out feeling strong and like you can tackle something, whether it's having that conversation with your parents they don't want to have, or parents being able to say, 'Let me listen. I'm not going to talk. Let me listen. You talk'."

In the musical, Amos and project partner Samuel Adamson chronicle the story of a young woman facing her fears.

Rosie Craig won an Evening Standard Award and a Laurence Olivier Award nomination for her moving performance as Althea, the light princess. She can be heard on the cast album, which was released last week (ends09Oct15).
