Legendary British crooner Tony Christie is preparing to make his West End debut at the age of 67.
The British singer has landed a lead role in new musical Dreamboats and Petticoats and will begin his run at London's Playhouse Theatre on Monday (05Jul10).
But Christie admits he's terrified about stepping on stage.
He says, "This is about 100 times scarier than Glastonbury. I've got to sing, dance, act and remember my lines. That's not easy for someone of my vintage."
