Hollywood actor Tom Sizemore has been arrested in Los Angeles on suspicion of felony domestic violence after allegedly beating up a woman at his home, it has been reported.

According to an article in TMZ, police received a number of phone calls from neighbours and people nearby who overheard a woman screaming on Tuesday morning (July 19th). LAPD eventually arrived on the scene and took the 54 year old actor into custody on suspicion of domestic abuse.

The woman is said to have told authorities that Sizemore hit her in the face and head after they got into an argument. She also refused medical attention, after police apparently saw visible injuries.

This comes just two weeks after an on-set incident on his current show ‘Shooter’, in which he accidentally ran over a stuntman. To make matters worse, Sizemore has been dropped by his management as a result of this week’s arrest.

Charles Lago, Sizemore’s personal manager for the last seven years and a representative of DTLA Entertainment Group, said in a statement released to The Wrap the following day: “We have come to the conclusion that we cannot continue representing Sizemore in good conscience. We cannot condone Sizemore’s continued abuse of drugs and violence against other individuals.”

DTLA also denied Sizemore’s accusations that they had stolen money from him. “There is absolutely no validity to these accusations. In fact, Lago has for several years supported Sizemore financially at various times including when three videos surfaced of Sizemore using crystal meth and heroin at his Los Angeles home.”

Sizemore, a star of big Hollywood movies such as Born On the Fourth of July, Black Hawk Down and Saving Private Ryan, has battled drug addiction since he was just 15. He was arrested and convicted of assault and battery against this then-girlfriend, Heidi Fleiss, in 2003 and served six months in prison for the offence.
