Any good Tom Hiddleston fan knows that the Avengers star likes to show off his impersonation skills, but on 'The Graham Norton Show' on Friday he really put his talents to the test, by impersonating Robert De Niro in front of the man himself.

Hiddleston was appearing on Norton’s sofa along with De Niro and his The Intern co-star Anne Hathaway as well as Kenneth Branagh, who directed the first Thor movie. De Niro of course is one of the most imitated stars in all of Hollywood, something which, luckily for Hiddleston, the legendary actor doesn't mind.

It seems that Elizabeth Olsen and Tom Hiddleston might be a little more than just two big screen superheroes from the same mega movie franchise. The pair, who are both part of the Avengers, are rumoured to be Hollywood’s hottest new couple after they were spotted together on a night out in London.

Hiddleston and Olsen were picture leaving in a taxi together after dining at The Wolseley in the capital on Thursday. The public outing comes just two months after rumours of the pair’s off-screen romance first made headlines.

When Avengers star Elizabeth Olsen met Taylor Swift you’d probably assume that they became fast friends, after all Swifty seems to be BFFs with every hot young Hollywood star. But sadly for Olsen things didn't go quite as planned when she ran into the singer at a bar and the 26 year old found herself indulging in some major fangirling.

Describing her love for Swift Olsen told Corden that earlier in the day she’d been listening to Taylor during her ballet class.

Universal have decided to push back Legendry's upcoming film that will explore the origins of the gigantic ape King Kong, titled 'Kong: Skull Island,' from a release date of November 4th, 2016 to March 10th, 2017 in 3D and Imax 3D.

Back in September it was confirmed that British actor Tom Hiddleston, known for playing the demi-god villain Loki in Marvel's 'Thor,' will be starring in the movie, and Jordan Vogt-Roberts has been acquired to direct. John Gatins and Max Borenstein co-wrote the screenplay.

Previous King King movies have briefly explored the island before the ape hit New York City, though Skull Island will "take audiences deeper inside this rich world with a style and scope that parallels other Legendary productions." As HitFix notes, the "parallels" could imply that we'll see a battle between Kong and Godzilla, who is also the property of Legendary Pictures. This is strengthened by the fact that Max Borenstein, who co-wrote Godzilla, is penning Skull Island.

MGM and Paramount are courting British actor Tom Hiddleston to play Ben-Hur in a remake of the epic 1959 movie, based on Lew Wallace's novel Ben Hur: A Tale of the Christ. The film won 11 Academy Awards and became the second highest grossing movie in history, after Gone With The Wind.

The very English Tom Hiddleston has just been cast as country legend Hank Williams in an upcoming biopic entitled, I Saw the Light. Hiddleston, who’s best known as The Avenger’s Loki will be rerecording some of William’s biggest hits for the movie, which is set to begin production in October. We can all agree that biopics, especially music ones, are usually a bit hit or miss. In most cases they either pick many award nominations or end up as a bit of an embarrassment. But curiously, country music biopics seem to fare well with both audiences, the critics and the all important Academy. British-born actor Tom Hiddleston has allegedly been cast to play country singer Hank Williams in an upcoming biopic about the country singer's life. Deadline reports that Hiddleston will learn Williams’ Alabama accent and how to play his music for the role.

The biopic, titled “I Saw The Light” is based on the 1994 book “Hank Williams: The Biography,” written by Colin Escott, George Merritt and William MacEwan. Celine Dion's role in the 'Muppets Most Wanted' was scripted with her in mind.

The film which stars children's favourites Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Animal and Fozzy Bear among others, has a number of A-List cameo appearances, including Salma Hayek, Tom Hiddleston and Usher, and director James Bobin insists the roles were written specifically for these celebrities, before they officially agreed to appear in the film.

He said: ''Largely we write those roles in the script. Often we even write the name of the particular person. What we find, is that because there's a great love for the Muppets the people we ask tend to say yes. Which is really rare.

There’s no better way of proving that you are a true artiste than taking on a challenging Shakespearean role. Not content with raking in millions of dollars from their blockbuster movies, these famous actors and actresses decided that they needed some to shake up their careers with a bit of William Shakespeare.

Tom Hiddleston’s talents aren’t restricted to playing Marvel Comics’ super villian, Loki. The Thor star has a soft spot for Shakespeare, starring in the Hollow Crown series as Henry V as well as taking on Coriolanus at the Donmar Warehouse. Sounds like an easy role to kill a bit of time in between filming. Well, maybe not, but there’s certainly a lot of killing of some kind.

With director Ben Wheatley announcing that Tom Hiddleston has been cast in the lead role in the upcoming 'High Rise', we're now brimming with anticipation for the JG Ballard adaptation. The director set tongues wagging by tweeting a picture of the movie poster and writing “here we go. Cant quite believe this is happening. Tom Hiddleston! Jeremy Thomas! Script by Amy Jump! JG BALLARD!” The big screen version of 'High Rise' has been in the works for decades so we thought we'd give some explaination of the project's history and what can be expected now it's finally hitting the big screen.

What is 'High Rise'?;
High Rise' was published by English author JG Ballard in 1975, Ballard had just gained notoriety for his novel 'Crash', published two years earlier. Like many of Ballard's works 'High-Rise' is a dystopian work looking at the negative impact of modern life. It centers on a new residential tower which was designed as a luxurious solution to the problems of the city, but where the residents find themselves becoming increasingly isolated. Hiddleston will play Robert Laing, a young doctor who, as life in the High Rise deteriorates and residents break into tribal factions, finds himself in the middle of mounting violence that begins to emerge in himself.

The best rumour this week is that Judi Dench may play Mon Mothma in Star Wars Episode VII, which director Jj Abrams starts shooting in the UK this spring. The Sundance Film Festival is the place to be for young, aspiring filmmakers hoping to crack into the hotly-contested business of the movies. By the end of the film festival, which this year runs from 16-26 January, there are always a selection of film titles that are revived for the following awards season, and this year people are so eager for the celluloid showcase that a number of early contenders for festival glory have been marked before their debut release.

In thirty years the film has discovered some of the most promising filmmakers out there and continues to deliver, from Roland Joffé’s The Killing Fields in the festival's opening year (1985) to last year's most notable success; Fruitvale Station, the debut feature length from Ryan Coogler. With another 120 films to get through this year it seems more than likely that at least one of the releases will be leaving Park City, Utah, with more than a few skiing lessons and a commemorative t-shirt.

Yesterday the release date for Fast & Furious 7 was announced for April 2015. As predicted, this allows for some production delays and for the cast and crew to have a mental health break following Paul Walker’s death.

It also means that the film will be pitched against a different set of competitors, which might affect the franchise’s profits. In July 2014, the main competitor to our favorite fast-cars-no-plot franchise would have been Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.

Henry Cavill has topped the latest poll by Glamour magazine to determine the '100 Sexiest Men Alive.' The Man of Steel actor took the top spot from four-time winner of the accolade Robert Pattinson, who after four consecutive years of being declared the world's biggest hunk, fell down to number two this year.

The Twilight-star has long been a favourite for the magazine when compiling their yearly list of sexiest men, but this year the spandex-wearing DC superhero Cavill proved too dashing to ignore, as he leaped to the top spot. Cavill was chosen as the sexiest man alive by the magazine on the back of his successful turn as Superman in the blockbuster Man of Steel, with his chiselled abs and facial features probably going some way towards securing his spot at the top of the poll too.
