With M:I5 time fast approaching, Paramount has just dropped the very first teaser trailer. Oh, and the flick also has a name now. The first seconds of Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation to be seen by the public feature our favourite secret agent, Ethan Hunt, holding onto the side of a plane as it takes off. This franchise was never kind to viewers with a fear of heights.

The title was also a point of contention around Hollywood. You'll notice a certain similarity between this one and the title of the upcoming Star Wars spinoff, Rogue One. According to Variety, however, Paramount got there first. Apparently, Disney didn't announce the name until March 12, two months after Paramount registered Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation.

In the new trailer, we get glimpses of Hunt working on his most impossible mission to date (spoiler alert: it's not impossible.) There are motorcycle chases and intrigue galore, as Ethan hunts (ha!) down a mysterious organization, referred to as The Syndicate.

The Tom Cruise starrer will also be released much earlier. The fifth Mission: Impossible was originally slated to debut in December 2015, but Paramount moved the release forward by five months, from Christmas to July 31, 2015. Meanwhile, Star Wars: Rogue One debuts on December 16, 2016.
