Tobey Maguire - The Great Gatsby Video Interview

'Spider-Man' star Tobey Maguire is interviewed about his new movie 'The Great Gatsby' where he talks about the similarities between his character Nick Carroway and the Gatsby novel author F. Scott Fitzgerald, working with Baz Luhrmann and working with Leonardo DiCaprio.

He says that he looked at Fitzgerald's other literary works and his personal life to gain inspiration. 'We created this framing device for Nick. [and] there are aspects of other things that Fitzgerald has written that influence that', he says. He mentions that he enjoyed working with Baz who he feels has 'created a unique experience for a moviegoer' and that working with Leonardo was equally as pleasant. 'We've been friends for a long time so we have a lot of trust for each other and we were in it together from the beginning', he explains.
