Taken from The Thrills forthcoming third album, 'Teenager', 'Nothing Changes Around Here' is the triumphant return of the Irish sensations, The Thrills. It's a toe-tapping track that is destined to launch the band back unto the airwaves. Surprisingly their highest ever charting-single only reached 17; no doubt they will be hoping to change that with their latest effort. It's a fascinating, magical mixture of all the greatness of The Thrills compressed into a four-minute recording.
The Irish five-piece have spent longer on their new stuff to insure that they get it right this time around. 'Nothing Changes Around Here' has the potential of being their highest charted release so far. It's feel-good, summery and energetic, typical Thrills. Surely, if this is anything to go by, their album is going to be remarkable and surely will be a treasured album in many people's collections, like debut album 'So Much For The City'.
