Release Date: 18 July 2005

Recorded in legendary LA Sunset Sound Studios, ‘HorseFabulous’ is the second album from Liverpool’s The Stands. A more mature record than debut ‘All Years Leaving’, yet this band’s second album maintains the soulful feel of the previous one, and makes a thorough enjoyable listen to anyone who fancies a bit of good old rootsy blues. Frontman Howie Payne’s American influence (he’s lived there half of his life) shines here even more

than before, especially in first single ‘Do It Like You Like’ – that could become an instant classic – in melancholic ballad ‘When Night Falls In’ and in nostalgic country-led ‘I Will Journey Home’. The album’s title is taken from a performing horse pictured in an old circus poster: as if this band’s deep romanticism wasn’t clear enough.
