Hundreds Of Revellers Were Caught Up In A Dramatic Crowd Crush During A Festival Appearance By Scottish Duo The Proclaimers On Saturday (11jun15).
The I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles) hitmakers were performing at T in the Park in their native Scotland when a security barrier collapsed under the weight of an audience surge.
Security stewards reportedly had to remove barriers and close food stalls to help the huge number of festival-goers caught up in the crush.
A source tells Scotland's Daily Record newspaper, "It was horrific. Everyone was pushing and the next thing the barrier goes down. A girl got trapped and people started stamping over her. There was only one security man with his eye on it. I've never seen anything like that at T in the Park."
The incident was not the only bad news to hit T in the Park - a 36-year-old man was found dead at the event's campsite at Strathallan Castle in Perthshire on Saturday.
