The full length trailer has just been released for The Muppets Most Wanted and boy, it looks like a thrill ride of a movie. The sequel to 2011's hugely successful The Muppets will see the furry gang plus some high-profile actors unite to take Kermit and Co. on a globe-trotting, crime-solving trip around the world.

Filmed at London's Pinewood Studios, the plot follows Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Animal and friends as they bask in the flow of their successful theatre tour. Things are peachy for the team until Kermit's evil doppelganger Constantine and his sneaky sidekick steal priceless jewels and the real Kermit becomes embroiled in a potentially career-destroying jewellery heist.

The gang are joined by a stellar cast, including Tina Fey as a stern Russian war camp commander with a penchant for disco dancing, as well as appearances from Ricky Gervais', P Diddy, Lady GaGa, Christoph Waltz, Ty Burrell and Tina Fey's characters.

The new trailer builds upon the excitement of the earlier teaser and gives us more of a glimpse of Kermit's evil doppelganger, Fey's gulag guard and all the usual Muppetry. One funny scene sees Sam Eagle have a "badge-off" with a police officer as the pair compete to one-up each other's badges.

All Eyes On Kermit: Will His Name Be Cleared?

London, Madrid, Dublin and Berlin all fly by as the team head out on a quest to track down the true jewel thief and clear Kermit's name. The first movie has garnered an impressive 96% on Rotten Tomatoes, proving an entertaining hit with kids and adults alike. Most Wanted is on the right trajectory to perform at least as well.

"There is only one frog who can restore order, bring justice and set things right," one Muppet declares. Bring on March!

The movie will be released in 2014 in the USA on 21st March and the UK on 28th March.
